Note that several translations exist for the same name and that we cannot accept claims. (Please use the text field to add a comment if the pronunciation is unusual. If you already have a translation, please attach a picture). We do not translate expressions, only names or words. Requests for expression translations will be ignored and refunded. Please also note that initials cannot be translated in Japanese. Consequently, they will always be embroidered in English. | |

We embroider in Japanese and English only (no Chinese, Korean, etc.) For any special request/logo embroidery, contact us prior to your order. (Comments including such undiscussed request, will be ignored). The maximum embroidery length is 20 cm (depending on the length of the content, font size will be adapted). |

Shushi Black Belt
100% Cotton | Made in Japan
Shrinkage: ~3% | Width: 4.5 cm | 15 Lines of Stitching
Embroidery Available: Non-integrated or Integrated
Like all our belts, this model is based on the Kodokan guidelines, which define the standard for Judo type belts in Japan.
The width of this premium quality cotton model is 4.5 cm. The Shushi model has 15 lines of stitching, a rigid cotton core, and a black cotton outer layer with a satin finish (glossy). "Shushi" is a term used for a traditional weaving method whose main characteristic resides in its shiny finish, giving it a satin aspect close to that of silk. This belt will slightly whiten over time.
When selected, the Aikikai mark is stitched on the opposite end of the belt (see product picture).
