Kendogi Jacket
About our Kendogi Jackets
Our Kendogi are made in Japan by a traditional workshop producing Dogi for almost a century. The cotton used for all models is fabricated in the Mikawa workshops, famous for the quality oft heir fabric since the 16th century. The indigo used for the Aizome models is a high quality Japanese traditional dye. You can refer to the "How to Choose your Kendogi/Iaidogi" page to help you make your choice and the artisans presentation page for more information about the workshop.
All double weaves Aizome models are available with the "Biotech" option. The Biotech treatment provides an anti-microbial, anti-mold and softening treatment for perfect comfort. This treatment also guarantees a shrinkage rate close to 0 and further fixes the dye, limiting greatly the Aizome dye bleeding.
